Helen Alexis Yonov has had a long love affair with film, literature, and art, which informs her deep passion for visual storytelling. An award-winning filmmaker, her work has been called beautiful, evocative, and timeless. By blending classic aesthetics with modern sensibilities, Alexis creates visual narratives that resonate with the viewer and captures the essence of elegance and sophistication.

Her diplomatic upbringing exposed her to different cultures and traditions, influencing her creative perspective. Much of her work can be seen through a multi-cultural lens. Having spent time in Kuala Lumpur, Moscow, Paris, and London, her overseas experiences have greatly influenced her, instilling in her a fascination with how people creatively express themselves. One might say that Alexis shoots visual love letters to the World around her.

With over two decades of film experience, Alexis has learned the many facets of filmmaking from first-hand experience, which has evolved into a careful attention to detail in order to create beautiful imagery with a cinematic touch. Alexis works with the UK-based RWI Films and is a contributor to the luxury online magazine Bespoke Black Book.
